In May 2025, a small crew of volunteers went to the village of Guachaca to build the first skatepark on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. To complete this project on time, our volunteers gave all the energy and love they had. From pouring concrete under the heavy sun to crossing rivers with a concrete mixer lost in the jungle, every challenge was faced with determination. After all these efforts, a beautiful opening celebration took place to mark the first of many days at the “Rampa Perdida” Skatepark. This new 450-square-meter space is dedicated to the youth of Guachaca. Thanks to our local partner, “Más Connection Social,” all the kids in the area have free and safe access to the skatepark every day of the year, with skate lessons offered a few times a month. Lights have been installed so kids can enjoy skating in a more comfortable climate and, of course, have fun without missing a single hour of school.
